Priya Shrestha joined the Professional Bartending Diploma in 2019 with no bar experience. She now leads our Mixology & Flair program.
"I dropped more tins than anyone in my class," she laughs. "But I practised every evening after class, and the trainers kept pushing me." After graduating she worked at a five-star hotel bar, competing in local events on her days off, and won the national title in 2022.
Her advice to new students: "Master the basics first. Flair only works if your drinks are good."
